We exclusively sell double-poly rack-and-pinion systems, and we’ve sized our motors accordingly. Use this rule of thumb:
 
LVM100 – Reliably opens and closes greenhouses up to about 96 feet long
LVM250 – Reliably opens and closes greenhouses up to about 200 feet long
 
If you purchased your rack-and-pinion system from another manufacturer: Every system is different—materials like glass, polycarbonate, or different poly configurations significantly affect motor requirements. For accurate sizing recommendations, please consult your greenhouse system supplier, as they know the specifications of their system best.
